The Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville promotes awareness of cultural activities through a monthly calendar of events and www.experiencejax.com (fall 2007). The Council provides arts education programs to area students through its Artist and Musician in Residence programs. It also administers the city's Art in Public Places program featuring significant new works by regional, national and international artists at sites including the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena, the Main Library and the Ballpark.
Directions: Located in downtown Jacksonville in the Times Union Center for the Performing Arts.
