Established in 1961, Palm Beach Opera produces 4 operas each season. The 2007/2008 season opens with Puccini?s final masterpiece Turandot (December 7-10, 2007) followed by Beethoven?s only opera, Fidelio (January 25-28, 2008). Next is Donizetti?s delightful and effervescent L?Elisir d?Amore (February 22-25, 2008). Closing the season is the vibrant and passionate La Traviata by Verdi (March 28-31, 2008). Directions: Opera performances are held at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. The Center is located on Okeechobee Blvd., .5 mi. east of the Okeechobee Blvd. exit off of I-95 or .25 mi. west of U.S. Hwy. 1 in downtown West Palm Beach.
